Renal aging shortens healthspan and propagates organ dysfunction beyond the kidney, yet its molecular drivers remain incompletely defined. Here we identify microsomal prostaglandin E synthase-2 (mPGES-2) as a critical regulator of renal aging and its skeletal consequence.
